Come! Meet Joshua and ILSC classmates in this IN PERSON workshop.
Among the things we will do: Engage with poetry through reading and analysis- finding meaning/what makes something poetic, we will learn about Canadian poets and their history · Poetry and humor (the poetic turn) · Figurative vs literal language (concrete and abstract)
- Poetic devices: – Alliteration/Consonance, – Rhyme, – Simile and metaphor, – Personification, – Onomatopoeia.
This workshop is intended for students at I1 to I4 levels.

Starts at 8:30 am, finishes at 13:00. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start.
